NTT BizLink began full-scale environmental protection activities in fiscal year 2006, the Environmental Protection Promotion Organization was established in July of that year. In addition to the reduction of waste, paper and power consumption, NTT BizLink set environmental protection activities "targets and objectives" and implemented environmental protection activities based on the understanding that our customer's use of BizLink's main services -- "Data Center Related Services" and "Multipoint Video Conferencing Services" -- significantly contributes to a reduction in environmental load, and was consequently certified for ISO 14001 (EMS) in March 2007.

By utilizing our data center services, customers can expect space savings, server aggregation and aggregation from unified maintenance. Also, by utilizing our Multipoint Video Conferencing Services, transportation of personnel by air and land for business trips can be eliminated, contributing to environmental protection. In verification of "our main service's contributions to the environment", the Environmental Load Reduction Results (CO₂ reduction volume) are calculated annually and posted on our website.

It has been 3 years since we began promoting environmental protection and the fact that the promotion of our main business is directly related to environmental protection has led to increased employee awareness about environmental protection. The promotion of “Green ICT” has been a major mission for our company and this has also been the key to meeting our customer’s needs and it motivates all of our staff.

In the future, everyone in our company will join together to continually promote the implementation of environmental protection activities.
